Jamie Lynn Marie Spears was born in April 4, 1991. She was born in Kentwood, Louisiana, spending most of the time with her mother Lynne Spears and friends. Jamie Lynn attends school Parklane Academy in McComb, Mississippi. She is a cheerleader. Right now summers she spends in LA with her mother, father Jamie Spears and friends to film her hit show called 'Zoey 101'. Jamie Lynn is young American actress, who is best known for staring in the Nickelodeon show 'Zoey 101', portraying Zoey Brooks and for being sister for one of the most famous pop stars Britney Spears. Jamie Lynn "started" her career when she first appeared in 2001's 'Total Britney Live' and in 'Pepsi' commercial where she appeared with Britney back in 2002. In the same year she appeared in movie 'Crossroads' playing the younger version of Lucy who was played by her big sister Britney. For two seasons little Spears was also a cast member in the comedy-variety show called 'All That' in Nickelodeon. While she was on 'All That' Jamie Lynn did many crazy things like she was doused with 10,000 raw eggs, had to drink human sweat, and eat blue cheese dressing, among other disgusting acts. Her most popular skit on 'All That' was when she was playing a 80 year old security guard who had an unusual obsession with bacon. She eventually left 'All That' in 2004 to star in 'Zoey 101', another Nickelodeon series. 'Zoey 101' drew record numbers with the premiere of the show, which gave the channel 1,6 million viewers aged 9-16, its biggest viewership in the demographic for a premiere in eight years. Spears also sings the theme song for her show 'Zoey 101' who is called 'Follow Me' (which was co-written by her sister, Britney Spears). Also back in year 2002 she sang with girl group Triple Image. Together they sang 'Hey Now (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun)'. And also she sang karoake in an old 'E-Kara' headset commercial. 'Zoey 101' got nominated for a 'Emmy' as 'Outstanding Children's Program'. In 2006 Jamie Lynn won her first Kids Choice Award as she was nominated as 'Favourite TV Actress'. This year, 2007 she got nominated in the same nomination but she lost for Miley Cyrus. Also she won a "special award" on the Italian Kids Choice Awards back in December 2006. Jamie Lynn just turned 16 years old and right now she is filming the 4th season of 'Zoey 101' and enjoying her life.
